About the Nomads
Nomads On a Mission Active in Divine Service – NOMADS provide volunteer labor for historically Methodist organizations. NOMADS demonstrate God’s love through our work and by listening to the people with whom we work. We do new construction, remodeling, and repairs for churches, children’s homes, camps, colleges, outreach missions, and disaster rebuilding. Team members do maintenance, cleaning, painting, electrical, drywall, sewing, and flooring. With God’s help, NOMADS pretty much do it all.

The volcanic history contributes to the diverse natural features and compliments the abundant wildlife and spectacular scenery. Here, we hold annual church summer camps with facilities for every occasion.

Father to the Fatherless International is a charitable and religious organization that reaches out to the street children, orphans, single mothers, and widows of the world through education, nutrition, boarding, and fostering. Through international sponsors, children will be given the proper schooling, wholesome meals, opportunities to receive medication as needed, and a safe place to stay both day and night. Widows, single mothers, and older street children will be given opportunities to learn vocational skills (such as welding, carpentry, and computers). Literacy classes and other training courses will be given to anyone interested in the community.

We welcome students into caring, diverse communities, where they can build friendships and explore Christian faith in the marketplace of ideas.
At many campuses, we have more than one chapter, which may include separate outreaches to international students, nursing students, sororities and fraternities, athletes, artists, and ethnic minority groups, as well as faculty and career-specific graduate student chapters.

The Walk to Emmaus develops Christian disciples and leaders by inspiring, challenging, and equipping active adult church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, workplaces, and communities. It also benefits less active members who are seeking to renew a relationship with God, grow spiritually, or discover firmer foundations for their lives.
