As God has given us everything we need - including His Only Son.    Redland UMC seeks to be generous because we serve a VERY GENEROUS GOD. We are now invited to return a portion of what He has provided so others can know about His generous love.  Each person should give in gratitude, not from guilt or pressure, but as they feel lead.  

One of the many passages in the Bible that help us think about giving is: "For you know the generous act of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor so that by His poverty you might become rich." (2 Corinthians 8:9  -NRSVUE)
